ABOUT US
After working for ten years with many of Kentucky's best architects and engineers while serving as a Senior Associate with the award winning firm of Omni Architects in Lexington, Mark Congleton Arnold, ASLA, RLA established his own office of landscape architecture in 1995. The original office was called Mark C. Arnold and Associates.
As the firm grew, the office developed into a partnership business and was renamed The Landplan Group. Mr. Arnold continued to guide the growth and direction of this firm and served as the partner responsible for establishing the design direction and project production.

Believing very strongly in the ideals of a design practice and
desiring to work at a more artistic and creative level, Mark along
with Anthony Parsons RLA and Jocelyn Hinshaw, RLA formed Designworks
Studio in 2006. The firm is dedicated to the successful mixture
of real world solutions to site planning and design with an artistic
and poetic flare. Our projects strive to reach beyond the surface
and capture a deeper meaning and lasting value.
